Other than that the yeast infection symptoms include a unique smell associated with the liquid or the frequency at which the liquid discharges. The smell may be different for each woman and the symptoms may also vary. There are some symptoms which are rare but can never be ruled out. These include feverish sensation or pelvic pain. If these symptoms are noticed one must hurry to the doctor, as they may indicate a yeast infection but it may easily be a very serious problem which may need a proper medical attention.

If both the male and the female get it, then they might just keep passing it back and forth, causing serious problems. Whenever the symptoms for the female show (which usually happen right before or right after the menstrual cycles) they must be checked out and oral, over the top medications may be taken for it. If the symptoms seem serious and more painful, the prescribed medication is recommended.
